Geo = Earth; Pathos = Suffering
The definition of geopathic stress: the name is given to those natural or man-made
energies coming from the earth, which when 'stressed' are detrimental to the health of humans, as well as animals and plants.The
Earth's core is molten metals and it's spinning causes electrical currents which produce a magnetic field. Through evolution,
man has become used to this and can cope with slight fluctuations in this field, usually caused by the weather and the activity
of sun-spots. Sometimes though, the magnetic field is disturbed to such an extent in some places, that the human
body experiences unusual stresses and over a period of time this can lead to a lowering of the immune system and ill-health,
or a slowing of the healing process. This can sometimes be seen in a hedge when just one part of it appears to be wilting
or has died off. This is most likely where the negative line of geopathic stress runs through the hedge.
Lovers of geopathic stress
- ants; slugs & snails; wasps; cats. Ants will build nests over a black stream & thrive in it; slugs
& snails will gather where there are stress lines & multiply happily. Wasps will build their nests. Cats love
to roll around over GS, & will sit in areas where it occurs, soaking it up (it is not particularly good for cats, even
though they like it) Dogs hate it & will avoid being in a stress line.
